UFC 217 Live Stream Online Bisping vs St-Pierre Fight and PPV Order

In a little over two week’s time, Bisping will defend his middleweight title against the legendary welterweight in the main event of UFC 217 which takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The much-maligned bout will be the first time St-Pierre has set foot inside the Octagon since his controversial UFC 167 victory over Johny Hendricks in November 2013.

St-Pierre used his time on the sidelines to improve his already deadly arsenal and give his mind and body a break from the physical and mental pressures of being an active world champion.

St-Pierre is confident he’ll bring the best version of himself to the Octagon on fight night and has promised fans he’ll end Bisping’s reign at the summit of the middleweight division with via KO or TKO.

Bisping doesn’t foresee that happening and believes his opponent will utilise the tactics he’s well known for.

“Georges fights the way he fights. He says that he’s a new reinvented version of himself, but you can’t reinvent the wheel,” ‘The Count’ told Starsport. “Yeah, he’s might do one or two things a little different and maybe he’s going to switch stances here and there, I don’t know.

“But he’s still going to be the same old Georges St-Pierre. And under pressure, you go back to what you know.

“And what does Georges do under pressure? He takes people down. So he’s going to look to take me down.

“Yeah I might eat a few jabs here and there and he’ll probably get a few takedowns, but I’ll get up each and every single time.”

St-Pierre is adamant MSG will be the venue where he bags his first finish since his 2009 victory over UFC Hall of Famer B.J. Penn.

According to Bisping, St-Pierre will look to end his long run without a stoppage with a submission.

“He’s been doing a lot of jiu-jitsu for this fight. A lot of jiu-jitsu and a lot of wrestling,” Bisping added. “Of course, he’s probably been working everything. But I know he’s put special attention into his ground game.

“He will not submit me, I know he’s planning on doing that. He thinks I’m just a kickboxer, I’ve been doing jiu-jitsu tournaments since I was nine or ten years old. So I don’t like his chances of submitting me. And, he hasn’t finished anyone since 2009. I’m going five rounds three times a week with multiple training partners.

“I knocked out three guys in the gym this week, cold. And that’s a fact, quote me on that. So the knockout power is there. I’m understanding the game better than ever.

“And between me and my boxing coach Jason Parillo, I am the best version of myself going into this fight.”

UFC 217 takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 4 and is headlined by a middleweight title fight between champion Michael Bisping and Georges St-Pierre.UFC 217: Bisping vs. St-Pierre Fight Card
